At least he knew he was a charmer. Clarke had a feeling he'd been told that more times than he could count. It was nice to have him show up here when she really needed a distraction. Maybe the universe was looking out for her. After everyone she basically knew and loved disappeared, she needed something. A fun friend was definitely something.
So was getting drunk. Right now, that was definitely top on her agenda. Whatever came after, she would roll with.
Maybe.
As Octane tipped back his shot, Clarke laughed and took another drink of her Leg Spreader. It really was a good drink. One she'd never heard of, but very much enjoying. Her mind was already starting to get appropriately fuzzy, the alcohol helping her forget all the pain she'd been dealing with lately. That was the point, after all, wasn't it?
Reaching over to grab the tequila bottle, Clarke poured herself and Octane another shot and held up her glass. "Then here's to being lucky." She clinked her glass to his and knocked it back.
"I vote we take our drinks and find some more fun. There are lots of things in this hotel to do."
