"I know. I feel the same." Thor agreed with Diana, gathering Stormbreaker from its place in the room and hefting it onto his shoulder. "I've a theory I'd like to test, if you're willing."
They were heading down the stairs as he tried to explain.
"If I'm right, it's someone holding us here, not something. When we hit the edge of our prison this time, I want to see if I can break through. An attack this time, not just walking."
It was stupid. He knew that much. It sounded stupid when he said it out loud, but they had to try something. So far, that was one of the few options they'd not explored. As much as he liked being so close to her, exchanging stories and learning about Diana on a more personal level, she was right that they didn't want to be caught out here when the hotel shifted again. He would take the lead, if for nothing else than to protect her, and as soon as they hit the open air of the street, he threw Stormbreaker straight at what he knew to be the edge of their cage, about 30 feet beyond the sidewalk.
