"That's been my experience too." Clark agreed as she told him what she'd learned during the time that she'd been patrolling and keeping track of the network of those that lived in the Hotel with them. "I don't want to think what this could have been if there were people other than us here." He admitted shaking his head, they'd lost too many within just their own group, but if they'd had to be trying to save the city too, from a force that seemed to have no end? It would have ended up in far greater losses for them all.
"A maze?" He asked surprised when she told him about a monster near the museum, he hadn't heard that. "I think I can help with that much at least," He assured her when it came to anything they might encounter along the way - and a small part of him could admit that he also was curious about this maze she had mentioned.
He huffed softly when she asked about his flight, "I think I probably could have done it earlier in life but it took me some time to learn I had these abilities." He told her, "Everything I can do is because of what I am though, not something that was taught to me."
