Clark tried to remember if he'd heard of Luphom in any of his learning about the universe, but it didn't ring any bells. He guessed that she like many others he'd met here so far were from other worlds entirely. It was strange and this wasn't really the place to talk about it , but he couldn't help but want to - perhaps after all of this was over. If that day ever came, he wasn't sure, nothing about this place was the sort of thing Clark felt like he could predict.
"I think you're right," He agreed about her suggestion that staying where they were was not great, "I've been trying my best to make the rounds of the city as frequently as I can. It's never seen it like this." And he'd been here before of course, but never like this - so empty and yet full of so much danger. It made the fighting simpler though and he couldn't help but be relieved for that much at least.
"Which way were you heading?" He asked her, unworried about taking the lead, happy to allow her that much if she wanted it. Clark had always been good with sharing space with others and this was no exception.
