Clark nodded as she assured him she was unharmed, that at least was a relief, though things were more complicated than that in a place like this. But for the moment they'd managed to dispatch their own enemies and could talk, however briefly. She wanted to stay, but Clark hadn't expected anything less from someone who had come out here on her own into this place that was so full of threats. It wasn't like some of the others who were running and scared of what was out here.
"There doesn't seem to be any shortage of threats out here," He agreed with her assessment of this place. There were certainly more things to kill, though Clark was not typically one who killed at least not foes who were human - the thing he'd just put down seemed to be single minded and that was only in service of doing harm to those who happened to cross its path. But he'd seen other threats, more human threats as he'd flown through the city and that did not bode well for any of them.
"Would you mind if we worked together for a bit?" He asked her, both to potentially keep any human from being killed but also to make certain that she remained as fine a as she was now. "I'm Kal," He added, "I don't think we've gotten to talk yet."
