Derek starred as she pulled herself together and got to her feet, which was about the point he realised he should probably be doing something useful, like helping! He just couldn't get over what he was seeing, Paige, bright and alive as ever, which had to be a trick. Had to be, because Paige was dead. Gone. By his own hand. He let out a gasp of air he hadn't been aware he'd been holding.
"Here," he said, taking a step forward and offering her a clean tissue from his back pocket. "For your hands," Derek probably didn't have to point that part out, but he was curious to see if this ghost or vision was capable of interacting with real, tangible things.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, as much wanting to know how Paige got to the hotel rather than into the woods. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again," Derek said barely loud enough to hear.
