"Hallucinations are definitely more likely, scientifically speaking." Edrisa wasn't against the supernatural either, per se. Her parents, both anthropologists, had taken her on research trips as a young age, and she had been exposed to all sorts of cultural beliefs and practices that took the supernatural for granted. Still, as a forensic pathologist, she definitely leaned toward a more scientific view of the world.
"Nah," she said with a wave. "I just can't sit still when there's things to explore. I've always been this way. Going to get me in trouble one of these days! I mean...it already has. Several times. And probably will again."
She leaned forward over the counter, glass in hand, and gave Will a playfully sultry look. "So...does the FBI just have a tendency of hiring then firing extremely attractive profilers?"
