He had fallen quiet as well, focused on the journey and on keeping them both safe. He tried not to use Diana's support too much here, feeling weak and drained as he was. It was all more alarming than he cared to admit, especially seeing how Diana herself was starting to react to all this. That alone should have scared him at least a bit. As they headed back, he felt a change in her, and they slowed down a bit when she spoke. Only a step or two off their previous pace, but it was enough.
"Thank you. If I knew, I... would have probably said we should stay put." He replied, having that same chill run up his spine. Hela alone would have been enough to end him, as she'd come close twice before, but who knew what else was out here?
Continuing on back the way they came, they found their path back wasn't blocked, but they seemed to be going in circles. Thor didn't know what was happening but they seemed to be going in a loop down the same set of streets. Wrong turn maybe? No, one of them would have caught that. Maybe another illusion?
