She was more concerned about Thor than she was letting on, but she also knew that if she could get them back to the hotel, Thor would have the time and safe space needed to heal what she’d done to him. Hela had started the fight and she had finished it, but it had been her that had sent him spinning into a second building and knocked him unconscious. She had already apologized, though, and so she didn’t do so again.
She kept his hand in hers, and let him lean on her as they walked. Now, she was essentially silent, keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings. The rules had not been explained here, and so Diana had no way of knowing who else might appear to challenge them. And she still had no weapon but her own body, which was now exhausted and still bleeding, though slowly now.
“Thank you. For coming with me today.” The idea of what might have happened if she’d dashed off on her own instead of asking for Thor’s company quite literally made her blood run cold.
