Thanks to his experience with the Dark World, Thor understood just enough to follow what Diana was suggesting. He wondered some of the same things himself, but had no way to prove anything or wonder about it yet. He glanced around at their surroundings again before his eyes fell back to Diana, trying to read something in her expression. Something was troubling her and that alone was enough to put Thor on guard as well. And if this were New York, why was it so quiet?
"If it were me? There are two landmarks I would pick out. Avengers Tower, in midtown, and the Sanctum Santorum in Greenwich. Depending on where in the city we are, either could be far away." He replied, then listened to her as she spoke. He understood and wanted to comfort her, even if it was in the distant past. They kept walking as they talked and when they came to a corner, Thor turned left, looking at the more open skyline.
He still couldn't tell where they were, so he started looking for street signs, but again came up empty. "I think we ought to orient ourselves before we go any further, Diana."
