The way Diana had started to bounce a bit was visible, even to him, and in a way it was cute and endearing. He couldn't argue that she'd stolen his heart anymore, because it was obvious to anyone else who would see them, but Thor could still stand for some exploration and adventure. Maybe Strange would even be heading for home. There was that deli near the Sanctum Santorum that Strange had recommended, the one Thor could never remember the name of. He knew the corner it was on and he knew the taste of their Caesar Chicken wrap well. Red brick building, ATM across the street, black metal bench with stone supports on the corner. That was the one.
Maybe it was there. If it was, maybe it was open. His mind began to race with the possibilities. He could show Diana one of his favourite places, and they could explore all of hers as well, since she seemed to know the city. Sipping at his coffee, Thor smiled at Diana when she talked about her own buzz as if she was surprised to be experiencing it. "Oh, it very much can happen." He bantered. "It just takes more for us. For me it was... Let's see... At this size, it took three cans of that Monster Energy drink, plus a coffee. If I was eating poorly, even better as the sugar would add to it."
With the plan established, he finished his coffee, then got up and grabbed some clean clothes. "I shall return in a moment." He offered to her before disappearing into the bathroom to change. He came back out in black jeans, a black t-shirt, and his usual boots. With Stormbreaker returned, Thor did something else, though, to make sure they could carry it with them safely. Taking a different shirt, he tore it up, tying the fabric in secure knots and leaving an opening big enough to stick the grip of the weapon into.
All this done, Thor slid the impromptu vest over his shoulders, then popped Stormbreaker into it, head of the weapon against his left shoulder blade, and shifted his weight a few times from side to side, rolling his shoulders or bending. It held.
