Diana watched as Thor regained his axe, and she did take a moment to admire it. She was no stranger to weaponry, and even though she was not partial to such herself, she knew a sharp blade and a good weapon when she saw it. Added to that Thor’s obvious pride in its ownership and Diana could understand why he was so pleased at its appearance. “I have heard things from home turn up on occasion, so I shall keep an eye out.” Diana took another sip of coffee, and then she smiled brightly at Thor’s suggestion.
She had not sat down, even after Thor had recollected his axe, and there was not much point in sitting, really. Diana had dressed for her day and had breakfast, and was now on her third cup of coffee. She’d had a second and likely shouldn’t have with breakfast, and so she bounced on the balls of her feet a little. She hadn’t even noticed the motion, but belatedly was glad she’d worn sneakers, so at least it was a quiet motion.
“I don’t think non-human beings should be allowed to get a caffeine buzz, but no one asked my opinion and I think I have one.” She grinned, reaching up with her free hand to brush her dark hair out of her eyes. She’d left it down today, but there was a tie around her wrist in case she wanted to put it back. Hair ties as they were today had been a life-changing invention, as opposed to strips of cord or other such attempts.
She nodded at his question, as though there had ever been a doubt that she’d like to go with him.
