She had not found any particular cause to devote her time to. Diana did not enjoy cooking for simple pleasure, nor gardening. She had taken part in the patrol, and felt useful because of that, but otherwise, she had been somewhat aimless, offering help as needed. Thor had his fighting group, and that gave him direction and focus, and Diana sought the same. She would find her purpose, as she always did, but it had not presented itself yet.
There was a thud and a grumble, and so Diana stopped knocking and making noise, but she started up again as soon as Thor’s door opened and he spoke. “Yes,” she responded, as if there was some confusion between herself and another Diana. Someday, there might be, but she had not met another yet. “And yes. The hotel has moved again, as I had been informed it would, but it has brought us to New York. I am not sure when, as I have not explored.”
And since he’d opened the door, Diana stepped inside. Most hotel rooms were equipped with a small coffeemaker, and these were no different. It was not good coffee, but it would suffice, and so Diana began making use of it. Thor looked like he badly needed coffee. And this one was not as complicated as the fancy one Tony had had, so Diana knew how to use it already, thank Zeus.
