"I can cast it a few times a day," Gilmore replied, starting to count and then dismissing the idea immediately. "And yes, an hour each time. I do have to concentrate on it, but it doesn't take a lot of focus, it just means I can't cast anymore spells in that time. Which isn't a big deal. I'll bring a book," Gilmore smiled. "It's not a big deal, especially if it's something you enjoy. Whenever you want. I don't want to interfere with your magic."
It seemed like a lot of effort to put in to change shape, but then there were things Theo's magic could do that were a little more difficult in Exandria, so it all balanced out.
"I think Caduceus could probably heal those, too," Gilmore added, noticing the injuries now that Theo was examining them. "No point in leaving him in pain."
So far Gilmore's travels with the hotel had been two out of two successful. He had his pirate outfit, and now he had his nice purple jumper. "Maybe you'll get to see more of the places you wanted to visit this way? Hopefully with a little less peril and little more getting to enjoy the sights. I'd love for you to see Exandria, any part of it. It would be wonderful to show you how things work for us. Then you can see why I was so baffled by everything in the hotel."
