Theo wondered at the hesitation, but didn't press for now. "It's always good to find new things to add to a wardrobe," he said, wishing that it was a better time and he could do the same. If he saw anything of interest though, he might just have to pick it up even if it wasn't his main goal in coming into the city. "You found what you were looking for then?" Theo had never been one for make-up himself, but he liked it on Gilmore. It was a part of him, the same way his warm smile was.
"Oh, well, who am I to argue with that," Theo said, flushing pink at the compliment over such a simple charm. While Gilmore picked out a jumper, and a little statue, he kept his attention on any threats that might be nearby. So far they had been lucky not to run into anyone or anything. "Oh, if you could do that it might be beneficial for us both. I can cast a disillusionment charm too, but it doesn't make us quite invisible. Just hard to notice. Being actually invisible might be better."
The next question was harder to answer. "Avoid them if possible, but if it's not possible I'll Apparate us back to the hotel but we might have to defend ourselves before can do that." It would all depend on who they encountered, and from what time they were from. Best to avoid them at all costs. "I don't know if I would call them mortal enemies so much as people I just want to avoid."
He glanced over when Gilmore trailed off and noticed the look on his face. He was pale and worried, eyes cast skyward as if he was looking for something. Theo glanced up as well and noted the shape in the distance. It looked like a dragon, which was definitely a concern.
"Yes, let's see if we can find him. If we have no luck in the next hour or so we can go back. I'm sure he'll be fine, and eventually make his way back to the hotel." He hoped so at least. "There's supposedly a barn nearby here, he may have gone there. Old habits from when he was a horse, maybe."
