The faint glow from her chest drew his gaze briefly before he raised them to her face. He did not know enough about technology to know whether she was from his dimension or not. It looked incredibly futuristic and he could assume its function was beyond him as well.
"Yeah, I've never been too social," he let out a soft scoff. "Nice to meet you too. I've been told about the last me to be here, but besides what Abra showed me I don't think we're from the same place in my life." Dan could feel that most of his interaction would start similarly to anyone who had been around long enough. You were here, that's a different me.
He nodded, moving over to his side and removing his coat. "Are the roommates always so randomized? Abra said we had been roommates before but now she has a new one. Do they just get filled as people are brought in?" It was an easy conversation, a few thoughts before he tried for the more informals of getting to know one's roommate. It felt like college.
