"It is insane. Utterly unbelievable. I would call on bullshit on all of it, if I hadn't been there." Bev agreed with a soft chuckle, not blaming the woman at all if she were to question it. Events like the hotel or everything that happened in Derry had to be seen to be accepted as real.
Bev nodded. "Shoes are good. For me, it was the clothes most of all. I walked through those shops knowing how to make each piece perfect." Even the casual clothes she currently wore included a red tank top that she had altered from a high, round neck to a plunging v-neck. A small change that had made her feel more confident and secure in herself, especially after bad dreams. She was no longer held back by her father or Tom's judgements over how much skin she chose to display.
"I'm a designer, had my own line back home." Bev explained. Technically, it had been her and her husband's line, but she had planned to divorce him before being brought to the hotel. "In fact, one of the hotel gifts I got was a huge pile of clothes from my line in different sizes. I had fun dressing the people here."
