"You sound a little bit like you came here hoping to get your face pressed into the floor," Tony observed, looking unimpressed with Zemo's general assessment. What he would or would not have done in the past wasn't really a solid look at what he might or might not do right now.
Tony didn't want to say he'd made peace with everything from back then, but he was a lot closer now than he had been before.
"Don't do anything you need to look over your shoulder over, and maybe you won't be seeing any more of me," he said after a beat, and it was every bit a threat even if it didn't quite sound like it. "Now I think we're done with our hellos. I'll let you be on your way."
