Another fair point was that Tony, for all his social capabilities and talents, wasn't that much of a people person. He liked his space and he could fill it with as much noise as he did or did not like when he was alone. When there was someone else around, it tended to be harder. For whatever reason most people got offended when he forgot they were there.
"Well. It was more a ..." Tony paused, paying attention to his work even as he searched around for the words he wanted. "Superhero internship. Sometimes he'd come around, but no, no coffee fetching."
