What surprised Matt more than accidentally running into Foggy like this was that Foggy didn't seem to be bothered by Matt simply being there in the hallway. Which okay - was probably a stretch even if he was still, rightfully, angry with him, but he just seemed possibly happy to see him. Offering Matt a chance to spend some time with him rather than the more awkward greeting and then moving on that he'd expected when he'd heard Foggy rounding the corner.
"Hi," He said a little lamely, trying his best not to bring too much of his own doubts into this, Karen had told him time had passed, she'd explained everything that happened and where she was from and where Foggy was too by her assessment. But that didn't make it any less strange for Matt to be standing there with his friend hoping that maybe this was actually something they could get over. He might feel like there was nothing he could do about what he was, but he still wanted his friends in his life - even knowing how unfair that was to them both.
"I could go for a snack," He agreed, hoping against hope that things could actually be okay, maybe this place didn't have to be all bad - he was still not certain where he stood in all of this, Elektra was still a question in his mind, but maybe Karen and Foggy could be a part of all of this. He had to hope for that much at least. "Did you hear there were dinosaurs?" Matt asked as they set off toward the kitchens to see about that snack, trying for something light and easy they could talk about that wasn't why Matt felt like he needed to avoid the two people in the world who knew him better than almost anyone else. Barring Elektra.
