Clark chuckled while Dick talked about the Titans, spending time with his friends bringing them together into a group. "I don't think I've heard of the Justice League either." And he wondered just how much further into the future Dick was than him, if this was something that would be coming for him soon or maybe not at all? It was hard to say, the multiverse was a complicated beast, and you never could be entirely sure what it would bring you, whether it was your own life tilted sideways or something entirely different. And being here only brought those differences even further to the forefront, but he had to hope in time he'd get to know some of the people he'd already met here, surely his life would be richer for it.
"I do my best to make sure that's true," Superman always saved the day, maybe it didn't go quite as perfectly as Clark would have liked, but he could be depended upon. "It's easy to be scared of superheroes," He said with a sigh, it wasn't that Clark didn't understand where that distrust came from, different could often be scary, especially for people with no inherent abilities of their own, but it didn't have to be like that. And he'd do what he could to show the world that people like him, aliens and metahumans weren't out to harm them. It was nice talking with Dick like this, hearing a little bit of what Dick saw from an outside perspective, Clark didn't get a lot of that. "All we can do is our best though, and my hope is one day that will be enough for people to see us as we are."
"Here though-" This place - it didn't seem like there was much need for people like him, "I guess here is a chance for us to just be for a time." He shrugged, uncertain if that was true or not, but the thought was nice enough. "It's been a long time since I've been able to just exist as I am without having to justify it." And sure there were plenty who knew and understood, but Clark could never just walk down the street as Superman and expect to simply live his life. Here though? He could be both.
