He chuckled and nodded, "It's definitely not the way I normally operate, but I don't think anything about this is part of the way things normally work for any of us." Using their hidden identities, pretending they were less than they were didn't seem like it was something they needed to do here. Their entire world was only as big as this hotel for the time being. He frowned when Dick told him that his identity had been revealed back home, concerned now for Dick, "Are things going to be okay, back home?" He asked curious now, " With the reveal." Clark already knew how easy it would be for those he cared about to become a target if someone found out his alter identity.
He watched as Dick gathered up his equipment, obviously taking the time to store it properly away rather than rushing through it so they could move on. It was a good quality to have and Clark grinned when Dick waved him over, "It wouldn't be the first time I've been accused of being a dork." He assured Dick with a laugh.
And then he was laughing again at the idea of Bruce trying to ask out Lois too, now that was something he'd have liked to see, if only for the pure absurdity of it. "Oh wow," He grinned and nodded as Dick continued to the actual first time that they'd met properly. So Dick had only been a child at the time, with Bruce on a mission to retrieve Kryptonite for him when he'd been there to save them. He huffed softly, "I try my best," He agreed, "I'm glad I could be there to help keep you safe." Dick and Bruce both, he knew Bruce but he guessed Dick hadn't entered the picture yet in his own world, or perhaps never would - that was something he was learning about the Multiverse, things weren't always exactly the same despite what one might have thought.
"So you and Bruce work together?" He made the logical jump, "He's been a good friend in the time that I've known him." They hadn't gotten to spend a lot of time together the way Clark might have liked, but it was good knowing someone like him - the way Kara had her friends - even if they were in alternate universes, it was good knowing someone out there trying to do something the way you were. Even if he and Bruce went at it in different ways.
