This was another new thing for Diana to adjust to, but this was a good thing. It had been literal decades since she’d been kissed, and so this was quite the event for her. Even such chaste kisses as they’d exchanged bore thinking about, and Diana planned to. For the moment, it was enough for her to know that she had enjoyed it. She’d enjoyed it enough that she was quite sure waiting since 1984 had been entirely worth it.
“Good,” she said lightly, and she raised the hand he wasn’t holding to cup his jaw. She used her palm to turn his face toward her, to ensure that he was looking at her. “No more than any other strange thing that has happened, and there was a reason for it.” Diana shrugged and let her hand fall, but that soft smile was still on her face. She had a feeling it would stay a while, now that it was there. Diana’s tongue dipped out to trace her lower lip, a quick little lick, and she could’ve sworn she could still taste Thor’s mouth.
“Shall we head back? I am not in much of a fighting mood, I find,” she murmured, but it wasn’t that she was upset or off balance. It was only that a fairly nice moment had been interrupted, so their options now were to continue sparring or walk back toward the hotel.
Still, she made no move to walk away, nor did she pull her hand from his.
