Maybe this was the hotel's influence. Thor wasn't thinking about that, though, or about the fact that nothing he'd done, no one he'd been with before, had moved so intensely so fast. All thought went out the window as he felt Diana begin to return his kiss, her hand even tangling in his hair. If he could think, the paranoid part of him would have expected her to yank his head away. Instead, it seemed this was really happening and Thor wouldn't have had it any other way.
That second kiss was deeper, with more fuel on the fire and a little more frantic in nature. Diana was good at this. She made him want her that much more every time one of them moved in this moment, every time he heard her take a breath. As that second moment reached its natural crescendo, Thor did find himself jumping back at a sharp pain in his left leg, positioned just a step behind the other while they balanced.
The same snake from before slithered away into the woods and Loki, his Loki, proper, came out from where the snake had gone. Loki offered a smirking half-shrug, his trademark move when he disapproved of something Thor did. When he spoke, Loki's mind seemed to project not into the air, but directly into Thor's mind, and the Asgardian followed the ghost's movements with his eyes, a lingering touch still on Diana's side.
"Look at you, brother." Loki said, inhaling a sharp breath before he spoke, purely for dramatic effect. Even as a ghost, Loki had to be as extra as possible at all times. He dropped his hands after that, taking a few steps closer, and leaving Thor transfixed. "She's quite beautiful, isn't she? But you know you'll fail her. You'll leave her vulnerable one day, and she'll die. It'll be your fault."
It was tough for Thor to rationalize, but he knew this was just a ghost, just the hotel trying to punish him for finding some small measure of happiness. Loki shook laughed now, shaking his head as he threw a spectral knife in Thor's direction, leading the Asgardian to actually raise his arm to block. This just made ghost Loki laugh that much more. "You are still so... predictable, Thor."
The snake bit at his leg again, and Thor now found himself jumping a bit, trying to dodge. To Diana, who couldn't see the ghost, this would just look ridiculous.
