Re: Nyx/Thor
Nyx threw up some kind of magical shield and Thor ran headlong into it. He stopped dead in his tracks and bounced off, but there was no real damage to speak of, beyond his wounded pride. Nyx was good, worthy of that borrowed power, clearly. Thor wondered what Nyx's skill was like even without it, but something told him that much of the other man's fighting style was embedded in that ability and how much training he'd had with it.
"You're good." Thor offered with a grin. Looking around at the room, he grabbed the roughest approximation of something axe-length that he could, then got ready to go again. It was a simple wood staff, a little longer than Stormbreaker, but infinitely lighter and easier to handle.
That also meant it would snap like a twig underfoot the first time Thor hit something with it. He decided this was acceptable and went for it anyway.
