Diana was interesting, she had a lot of big thoughts about this place and had come into it entirely different than Clark had done when he'd arrived, convinced that this was all just a part of the anti-matter that had been consuming the multiverse. The longer he was here the less he was sure that was true, but it meant that he and Diana were coming at all of this from different places and he thought that was likely a good thing. Anything he missed he had a feeling Diana would see it just like he hoped he might be able to do the same for her.
"It does seem strange that it might not know who it's brought in, unless of course taking people happens at random and the hotel doesn't know until they've arrived." The entire process of how they ended up here and what the purpose of all of this was, was still beyond Clark and his abilities to understand but that didn't stop him from trying to figure it out.
"Yes, I'm of the same mind," He agreed, feeling that same sort of uncertainty when it came to potentially helping an unknown entity finding one of their numbers for some unknown purpose. "I don't think I could ever fully commit myself to keeping someone safe from something like this either, as much as I would try to do that." Clark simply didn't know enough about the hotel or about whatever being was running all of this to say with confidence that he could keep anything from happening to anyone that this place might be seeking out.
"I think for the time being, we just need more information to know one way or the other whether that would be the right thing to do or not." He said shaking his head, it was not what he preferred if he was being honest. Clark liked something that was more straight forward, a rescue, someone who made no secret that they were the villain, but this place? This was something else entirely.
