He grinned, that it would be - he knew that he could be a touch naïve at times, especially when he'd been younger, fresh out of Smallville, but Clark still saw the best in humanity, for all that individuals could disappoint him, or commit atrocities he knew that as a whole humanity could be better, and would be - in time.
