"You are," Clark agreed, "It's a good thing," He assured her, "I think as a whole worlds would be a lot better if more people were as friendly as you." He tried to do that himself at home, as did Kara and many others he knew, but that wasn't always the case. There were many people from his world and others who were not interested at all in friends or getting to know those around them. Content with only seeing the world from their own point of view rather than allowing others the opportunity to share with them. It was disappointing, but Clark could only control himself and his experiences.
Diana was a good influence though, and Clark was glad they'd met here, and even more glad to find out that in time they'd meet in his own world. She was someone he wanted to know back home too, he'd be grateful to have her at his side if things ever came to that. "Right? It's some of the best news I've had since I arrived." He chuckled as he completed a circle around the rink, enjoying the simple movements and the sort of play of it. It was something he didn't think he'd have ever made time for back home, but here they had nothing but time on their hands.
"I've been wondering that myself," Clark agreed about the purpose of this place, "I wonder if maybe this place is looking for someone?" He suggested. "Or waiting for someone to do something." After his arrival phone call Clark was fairly certain they were being watched, and if it wasn't for some reason he couldn't imagine why they were here. Apart from his own ideas dealing with anti-matter, but it seemed that only his own experience lined up with that so he couldn't be entirely sure.
