Clark found skates in his size and sat with Diana to lace up his own skates and prepare for their fun, "It sounds like you're having an easier time than I am getting to know people," He said as she explained that she'd even given some tours to some of their newer neighbors. "Have you met anyone interesting yet?" He wondered, curious about some of their neighbors and Diana's opinions of them.
He chuckled as he got to his feet, holding hands out to either side of himself to help keep himself steady, though he supposed he didn't really need to - even without his ability to fly Clark was very good on his feet, but after so many years of mimicking the movements of those around him it was difficult to go without them. And he figured why bother, it was a part of him even if he didn't need it.
"It's been interesting being open about that here," He admitted as he moved over the carpet toward the rink and with Diana stepped out onto the smooth surface laughing at the feeling of gliding so easily as he pushed off. "I don't think I've ever been quite so frank about what I am even with people who know me." Kara might have been the only person he'd ever shared more with. Lois knew too of course, he wouldn't have allowed things to progress the way they had without telling her everything he could, but even Lois liked a little mystery, she never asked for every single detail. She trusted him.
