Caleb & Theo
Caleb had not gotten a flower crown - which was a shame, it seemed like something Caduceus would be amused with - but he had found a small patch of clover and plucked one up to give to Frumpkin. The cat was currently laying next to Caleb's side gnawing on it, occasionally distracted by some flying bug swooping past, drawn to the light of the fire. He'd probably wander off to chase moths in a while but for the time he seemed fascinated with the clover. And Caleb liked having him close anyhow. He wasn't great conversation, but he listened very well.
He glanced up as Theo approached, offering him a small smile, and shook his head. "Not at all, there's plenty of grass, join me." He reached over and patted the spot next to him, still well within the light and warmth of the bonfires. He took another quick swig from the bottom and lowered his legs to crisscross them instead. "Do they have these sorts of things where you're from?" he asked, doing his best to be a person who knew how to talk to other people. "It's called something different in the Empire, but the idea seems to be mostly the same." Less fire, perhaps. But Caleb wasn't really complaining about that. And he knew that Caduceus was somewhere celebrating in his own way as well.
