Elijah was slowly learning more and more about this place and about his loved ones that were already here. It certainly was a lot to take in, but seeing them here alive and well certainly made up for that. The only thing that could make him happier was to see his other siblings turn up here....especially Klaus and Rebekah. Being without them felt strange and aside from that Hope needed her father and he certainly wasn't a substitute. Sure Klaus had his issues over the years, but Elijah knew that somewhere deep down in there was the boy Elijah had vowed to find again. He knew what kind of man his brother could be and was determined to see that come to pass....no matter how many more thousands of years he had to walk to the Earth. For now though he would just be happy that some of his family were here and they were safe for the time being. Of course he would be on the look out for anything that might harm them. It was just job to take care of all of them. What he wanted in life didn't really matter as long as they were safe and happy. At least he had someone willing to give him a tour of the grounds. That was the first step in protecting them...knowing the surroundings of the place they were trapped in. He made his way down to the lobby to meet his tour guide. As per usual he was wearing a well fitted suit and his hair was immaculate. When he arrived he found himself a place to sit and wait on his companion. As he slid into the chair he scanned the room for any potential threats....not that there was many for him. There wasn't much that could actually do damage to him, but would prefer to avoid a fight if he could. Once he was sure the room was clear he leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes, his ears tuned his surroundings listening for the sound of her arrival or any other sound that he might need to respond to. |
