"Who wants to win like that?" Matt scoffed with a laugh as he blocked the puck again sending it back across the table, aiming for the side of the table where he hoped the puck might just make it past Clint's defenses and into the goal, but considering how things had gone thus far, neither one of them were racking up points any time soon.
Matt huffed and nodded at Clint's question, "More than I could have asked for." He assured him easily, it was fun, it was a use of his skills that didn't include beating anyone senseless, it felt nearly normal - which was a new sensation for Matt all things considered.
"Thanks for this," He added after sending the puck back Clint's direction when it was returned to his side of the table again. Part of him had been supremely tempted to just hide out and never leave his room again after his meetings with Karen and Elektra, neither one of them had been great in different kinds of ways and Matt was left with far more emotional baggage than he'd been prepared for after it all. He was lucky he'd met Clint early on, someone who didn't look at him and see failure and death and so many other things that Matt couldn't even put names to it. Clint was just easy, and Matt needed some of that.
