Diana waited a moment, wondering what he would say. If he would say anything. The thing was, for all her calm and poise, her heart was thundering in her chest and she wondered if she’d gone too far, if she’d said something she shouldn’t have. Thor turned bright red, noticeably blushing now, and Diana reddened too, embarrassed more by his reaction than what he’d said. And so she did the only thing she could do, and burst out laughing, bringing her hands away from his and covering her mouth instead. She’d thought her giggles had calmed, but she burst into laughter again as she looked at his face, but she did finally calm.
“I’m so sorry. I should not have said that. But you were asking for it, you know.”
