Dan chuckled softly. "It would be the one club I could actually feel a part of." That wasn't AA. Those meetings would be difficult to go back to now that his best friend was gone. His death was unnecessary, yet Dan knew he would be in a better place. He wished the crossing over could have been at an older age. Wished he could have had the strength then to stop the True Knot before they took so many bystander lives.
"I'm not sure about karaoke. Baby steps." He did sing to hospice patients at times, when they were too weak to have a conversation. Anything to soothe them. Images of their life, their loved ones that had passed. He used his abilities in subtle ways with them. Sipping his coffee, he smiled at her. "I will try to find new songs to sing for you."
