That Diana wasn't quite human wasn't that hard for Natasha to figure out, based both on things the woman had said on the network, her own experience with non-humans, and what she'd seen back before, months earlier. And while she'd welcome the physical challenge of sparring with the other woman, Nat wouldn't quite want to meet her in a genuine battle because she knew she'd be a little out of her own depths. Thankfully, that wasn't an issue here, at the moment.
The redhead nudged the bottle closer, and after Diana made use of it she poured herself a drink as well, but didn't pick it up yet. Chuckling softly at her words about John, the question was met with something of a half shrug. "Not exactly. There may have been one or two near misses, but nothing serious." Her fondness for the man was obvious, more than she might've liked a few years ago, and her eyes were warm as they met Diana's own.
"How are you settling in here, so far? You've clearly been exploring, making the rounds." That Diana was eager to meet people was something almost anyone could pick up, but Natasha didn't judge her for it or anything like that. She herself was more likely to watch others interact and speak directly to those who caught her attention the most, but she also liked to be patient and study people, as well. It was how she'd first approached John, all those months ago, and why she'd met him for a drink in that very bar so soon after their individual arrivals to tell him a little of her story. "And you seem to be getting along well with Thor."
