Re: Theo/J'mon
"Oh. Yes. They are classified as beasts, rather than beings. No talking, no magic of their own." He leaned in a bit, interested as J'mon spoke about the dragons of his world. There was something there, but he wasn't quite sure what it was he was seeing. Whatever it was, they seemed to be very knowledgeable about the dragons of their world. "So the dragons can also shapeshift? The more intelligent of them, anyway? This Bahamut, for example." He wondered what it would be like to meet a dragon. He looked at J'mon again, but didn't ask the question that was on the tip of his tongue. It seemed rude. "Are some shades impossible then? Or just very rare?"
Theo smiled. "Some people in my world have tried. The groundskeeper at my school attempted to keep a juvenile dragon as a pet. It went about as well as could be expected, though no one is supposed to know it happened at all. But it's a small school. Word got around." Draco had been incandescent with rage at the whole thing, but it all seemed so long ago.
"What makes the chromatics evil?" That was interesting in it's own right; that there was an entire species of dragon that was just evil, as opposed to having both good and bad as other species did. "Is there a species that is just good?" It would make sense that there was balance in that sense. He felt a shiver go down his spine at the last bit of J'mon's comments. He was definitely being warned, he just hadn't put all the pieces together yet. "I imagine that nothing good happens when they're threatened, even if the dragon isn't of the evil variety."
