Re: Theo/J'mon
Theo took a breath as a sense of calm washed over him, and he was pretty sure J'Mon had just done a bit of magic on him but he found he didn't mind. He wasn't used to people (and people wasn't the right word, he just didn't have a better one) he'd just met being kind to him, but that was becoming something of a common theme in this place.
"There are people I miss from home, but I don't think I was happy there. I'm not sure why I'm telling you that." It wasn't what he'd meant to say, but the words just slipped out. He wasn't sure why he was finding it so easy to talk to J'Mon, someone who his brain was telling him was a rival and therefore the enemy, but he would blame it on the wild mix of feelings he was experiencing at the moment. Anger, confusion, jealousy, hurt all swirled inside and apparently that meant he had no filter about some things. Likely because he was trying to control all the rest. "But no. I don't think that feeling is uncommon."
Theo was thrown off-kilter again as J'Mon suddenly shifted the topic of conversation, but then this whole evening had been filled with one abrupt discovery after another, so what was one more. "Sure. Ask away." His own curiosity was piqued, and he wanted to find out exactly what this odd question was.
