Re: Theo/J'mon
Theo tried to process what exactly J'mon meant by home. That wasn't something that someone wanted a friend to think of them. He didn't want Pansy or Draco to think of him as their home. It was...he wasn't sure what that meant actually. Had he completely misread Gilmore's intentions? Or if not misread, misinterpreted? He had noticed that Gilmore was friendly and flirtatious with others in the journals, but he hadn't been wrong that he only called Theodore my darling and everyone else darling.
"Um. Yes. I'm glad too," he said, though he found the words difficult to get out. His chest felt a bit tight, and he realized he was on the verge of a panic attack. He hadn't had one since he'd arrived at the hotel, and this was coming quite out of nowhere, quickly. He forced down the doubts and worry and focused on the present. He could handle this conversation maturely and with dignity, and there was something special about J'mon, calming almost, and he could absolutely see why Gilmore might think of them as home. It wasn't J'mon's fault he'd read something into the situation that wasn't there. "Your world sounds fantastic. Gilmore has told me quite a bit about it, and I wish I could experience it for myself. My world is not quite so exciting."
