Re: Theo/J'mon
Secrets were the natural enemy of conversation, and as a creature made for conversation, someone who had literally fought and killed the god of secrecy, J'mon was disinclined to foster any such thing in their interpersonal relationships. Complete transparency. Total honesty. Even when it was uncomfortable. And it had been uncomfortable in the past but it had been entirely worth it in the long run. You could tell as much about someone by what they withheld as you could by what they told.
They gave a soft, understanding nod as Theo explained the use of the flying brooms, thinking fondly of the one that Vex'ahlia had used - and terrible skillfully, too - in battle. It was a reasonable mode of transportation when it came to short distances, but teleportation was far more common where they were from.
"I like to think of myself as more of the respite than the adventure," J'mon said with a soft smirk. "The home rather than the distance. And I think that Gilmore would agree. But I am quite glad that he had encouraged your own adventurous spirit. We all need a bit of that in our lives, I believe. The worlds are vast and beautiful, it would be a shame to deny ourselves the opportunity to experience them and all that inhabits them."
