When Diana's hand slid into Thor's, lighting sparked between them, just once. He couldn't imagine her pain, or what these ghosts were saying to her. Well, he could, because his were likely saying the same thing, but he guessed he didn't want to think about that. "That seems to be the trick with this place. It's... personal. Like the ghosts aren't ghosts, but instead they're the parts of your mind you try to bury."
He squeezed her hand once, after the spark between them faded from view and the charge died. Her skin was softer than he'd expected, when she wasn't hitting him. She could be so strong, stronger than him, even, yet so gentle. The duality wasn't lost on Thor for a second. The talk of patrols gave a good distraction though, before his mind got the chance to wander too far in that direction, and Diana pulled away, severing the contact. That might have been for the best, for the moment.
"I agree, and if there's to be a rotation, I'll join. I'll talk to her in the morning. The more we know, the more we can do. That's what men far smarter than me always tell me."
