The stick was awkward and unbalanced, but still felt far more natural than not having anything. Obviously, Thor could defend himself without a weapon, but with a hammer or axe, it was just so much better. He couldn't fly or even hover like this, but he had power to move quickly when needed, if not elegantly. When Diana laughed, Thor couldn't help but do the same. He was enjoying this far more than he expected to, even as she ducked and weaved around him like he was standing still.
Allfather, how long had it been since someone had been a match for him? He didn't count Thanos. The big purple bastard was on another level and that hadn't been a fair fight. With Diana, it was more... fair, for lack of a better word. Everyone had the same tools and he liked that part more. When Diana knocked him down this time, Thor didn't see it coming, so lost in that whirling mess of black hair as she moved around him. She was so fast.
Even with her foot on his back, he pushed off the ground, trying to get up. "How are you even this strong?" He managed to ask with such a tone of delight in his voice, even as he struggled to get air in his lungs to get the words out.
