Diana took Thor's wind, again, and he found himself stepping back. She had a lot of power in that lithe frame, it seemed. Thor thought in the moment that Diana could have been the best Valkyrie in the history of Asgard. Get this woman a pegasus and see what she could do; she would shine. He'd caught her arm before the thought could develop much beyond that though, and as expected, Diana wasted no time in breaking his grip.
To tell the truth, Thor would have been disappointed if she'd not been able to escape this fast. What he wasn't expecting, however, was for Diana to make that move when she came out of it. Looking up at her, he found the deepest dark eyes staring back at him, her hair hanging down past the side of her head. Thor refused to admit that he really liked having her slight weight pressing down on him like that. Thankfully, she did the annoying thing instead of the cute thing and tugged at his hair, just hard enough to jerk his head up towards her.
"We're just getting started." He bantered back, grabbing her by the wrist. The next time their eyes met, his were glowing.
Those two points of light faded fast as he threw her away like a Hulk might throw a puny god.
