"Well, it's the only one I have right now that makes even a tiny bit of sense," he said, then sent a gentle cheering charm silently in Peter's direction. It would be just enough to help settle his nerves, not enough to be noticed. It wasn't entirely altruistic; he wasn't sure what he'd do if Peter had another panic attack. He was not equipped to deal with other people's panic very well. "That part I haven't figured out yet. I'll let you know if I do if you do the same?"
Theo sipped his own tea, his own nerves needing a bit of settling. "I understand that. Obsessing and over-thinking things is one of my best talents," he said, with a small smile. "I will say it does get a bit easier the longer you're here. Or maybe easier isn't the right word so much as...becomes a new normal." He still wanted to know how the hotel worked, but as time had passed it had seemed less important than throwing himself into new experiences. Like cooking.
