"You're welcome." Theo took a step back, still watching Peter with concern in case he went into another panic attack. He wasn't sure what he'd do in that situation, but he wanted to be preached since he was sort of responsible for the first one. "I'm sorry. I could have worded it more delicately, and like I said. I don't even know if I'm right. It's just a theory."
Though it seemed like Peter wasn't altogether unfamiliar with the idea of multiple dimensions, or whatever you wanted to call it. "Well...at least there's just one version of you here?" He wasn't sure if that made it better or worse. It must have been very awkward meeting other versions of yourself. He didn't think he'd like himself very much. "I still haven't wrapped my head around it, so I understand. I probably spent too much time trying to figure out the hows and whys when I first got here, and it all it led to was that no one really knows anything and it's probably best that way." Still, he couldn't help but continue to work through theories, and apparently cause panic attacks in people when he shared them.
"I really am sorry. I didn't mean to kick you in the teeth. Metaphorically speaking, anyway."
