Peter tried not to grin too wide as the young man he'd interrupted looked ready to start blushing over being caught in the middle of such a state, but he knew he wasn't doing a great job of it, but he did at least manage not to start flat out laughing. "How did that work out for you?" He wondered as he made his way a little close to get a better look at the chaos he'd walked into.
When his companion told him what he'd been attempting Peter had to frown then, "I'm not sure I even know what that is." He admitted, "Have you ever made it before?" He asked, "Cause that seems like a pretty ambitious thing to go for right out the gate. Peter couldn't manage to hold back his chuckle when he suggested that Peter might need to use the kitchen, "Oh no, no I don't cook." He told him honestly. "I'm a sandwich at the bodega kind of guy." He explained, "And you know I have it on good authority if you give Cap the right look he'll make you something so I'm pretty well taken care of."
"I'm Peter." He introduced himself, because if he was going to be making fun of this guy for going all out like this he ought to at least have his name.
