"You can always practice on the humans here," He told her with a grin, after all if everyone else in the hotel seemed to be just a normal human then why not take advantage of their current situation and make the most of it. Diana could figure out how best to get close to people, and telling them about who she really was in a way that wouldn't cause too much shock. Clark wasn't exactly an expert on that himself, Lex and Jimmy had both found out by accident, and Lois was - well she was Lois, there was no stopping her once she got an idea in her head.
He could tell there was a story there, when Dian worried about being detested, "I know I'm not exactly human but I can tell you with certainty there will be so many people who want to know you if you give them the chance." He assured her. Even if he wasn't human he counted himself among that number, but he knew there would be others who would want that too, normal every day people, the kind that he and Diana both seemed to work to protect to the best of their abilities.
"Oh if I was a part of your world you'd know it," He assured her with a laugh, "Well I guess maybe not if you're from a little further back, I grew up a mostly normal human life." He told her, oh he'd had abilities of course, powers that neither he nor his parents had understood, but they'd done their best to keep Clark under the radar, so no one would know who and what he was. "It wasn't until I was older that I made my debut." He told her. "Maybe that's something for you to look forward to." He suggested with a soft chuckle of amusement.
