It didn't seem like much time had passed from the moment he'd been in the sky to the moment he'd woken in his room again, not when he found Diana where he'd left her. "Beyond a little frustration that things weren't quite as simple as I hoped they would be, I think I'm fine." He couldn't be sure if the same would be said for someone who wasn't quite as solid as he was, but for the time being this was enough for him - that he hadn't been harmed, that the others and Diana were safe.
"I don't think we should make a habit of flying into whatever is up there," He said after a moment as he cast his gaze upward trying to see what he'd run into, even some clue as to how he'd been transported like that. "I didn't see anything up there." He told her, "Not a barrier or wall, nothing that should keep us here." But it seemed that what should be and what was were two different things in this place.
He sighed as he shook his head and looked to her again. "I don't know what to make of it. It's not like anything I've ever encountered before." And Clark felt like he'd encountered a great deal in his life. But there wasn't anything more to be done about that for now he supposed.
"We can still do a little exploring I guess, even if we can't go to far, the trees surrounding the hotel look like they go on and on from above." He told her. "I don't know if we'll be able to go very far but it wouldn't be a bad idea to look around some if you're feeling up for it."
