Her gravity was not entirely her fault. Even among the Amazons, some were more playful than others, and Diana fell in about the middle. However, she had learned that as a group, the Amazons were more serious than humans. It made sense, though, when she considered the different purposes for which Zeus had made Mankind and Amazon. The more time she spent among them, the more some things made sense. And she was pleased to have had this conversation.
Most of her day-to-day conversation was of little consequence or too much. She was either curating museum pieces and speaking with cashiers, vendors, and anyone else needed to facilitate that, or stopping crimes and injustice, which contained very little conversation but perhaps more impactful interaction. “I’m sure there are candles somewhere, and Tony rigged up a- What about a potato?” Diana was entirely distracted, wholly pulled in by the potato comment.
The thing was, Diana knew how electricity worked. She’d left Themyscira and gone straight to London and then the war front, and Mankind had already had electricity. Diana had never been in an elementary school class and been shown that potatoes could light up a bulb. “I’m sure that given time, Tony could fix it. He managed to make a sort of welcoming station, after all.” Tony had been the first person Diana had met at the hotel, in point of fact, and she would not forget the kindness he’d shown.
