Peter looked Diana over when she told him she'd take the hotel apart brick by brick and wondered just how much truth there was behind that statement, or of she was being hyperbolic. In the end he decided she was probably more than capable of it and shook his head. "I think you're probably right, and if we have to be stuck here I think we'd all rather have a roof over our heads than not. But maybe if we get especially desperate we can touch on that again." And even if she couldn't do it on her own Peter was sure between him and her and several of the others here they could do it together. But for the time being they didn't need a pile of bricks and that didn't seem like the way to get answers, so the hotel would remain unscathed for now.
Diana was interesting, for one so old she didn't look it, she was likely powerful too, but there were some things she didn't quite get - Peter had noticed it earlier in their conversation but hadn't said anything and now the question about foosball too. He was fascinated and wanted to know more about where she was from and what she knew, even when she was from too maybe she was from hundreds of years ago, but she didn't seem in awe of anything she'd seen yet either so probably not. He had a lot of questions and was doing his very best not to just blurt them all out at her.
"I've had a little bit of a hard time hoping for the best recently, but I'm trying to be better about that." He admitted with a soft huff, things had been hard recently, nothing quite working out the way he wanted it to, but Miles had helped him to reprioritize and he was going to try harder to find his way back. He could start with this even if it wasn't the same goal he'd originally had when he'd fallen through that portal.
"Oh man yes!" Peter practically crowed when Diana found exactly what he'd been hoping for. "This used to be one of my favorites." He told her as he made his way to the table, "Here, here you stand on that side and this is mine, you control the little guys with the handles and we try to score by hitting the ball in to the goals." He explained finding the little white ball on one side of the table and holding it up, "What do you think? Want to give it a try?"
