Well that was new - an island shielded from the eyes of mortals. Weird. But neat, Peter could handle that. It wasn't the first time he'd encountered weird, he could climb walls after all. "Well that's pretty cool," He said instead as he shrugged, it felt like the sort of thing he shouldn't ask about too much, if it was shielded from people, it was likely for a reason and Peter didn't want to go sticking his nose in on things that weren't really his business.
It was a relief that his guess at her age wasn't immediately met with annoyance, though what it did come with was a rather surprising admission that not only was she older than his safe guess of thirty but that she was some sort of unageing entity if she was older than eight hundred years old. "Huh." He said because what else could he, not a question of not understanding, just more of a sound of surprise. "Well you don't look a day over two-hundred." He said shaking his head. He should probably be a little more weirded out that she was being so open about not being human, and if he'd been younger Peter knew he'd have had a lot more to say about it all but for now he didn't have to ramble on about things he didn't entirely understand, at least not always, he rambled plenty still. Some things you never grew out of.
"Well - I am just your mostly average human," Though maybe that wasn't entirely true in many ways, but when it came to aging Peter was just about the same as everyone else, "Still working on my first century." He said with a small huff of amusement.
